PAIR OF ARMCHAIRS
Attractive pair of Louis XV style, Napoleon III period, armchairs in carved rosewood. The upholstery is in perfect condition but the covers need to be changed. Good condition, some early repairs to the back legs, back stretcher and damage to the back which will need attention when the cover is changed; the veneer needs a little attention on one and an angle is damaged on the other (see photos) Seat height 41 cm Height of back 96 cm Length of armrests: 66cm and 54 cm between the armrests Depth of seat 55 cm
PAIR OF OIL PAINTINGS OF QUIBERON
Attractive oils on panel in re-gilded Louis XVI style frame. Signed S or G Durand and dated 1927. A few early woodworm holes in the frames which have since been treated. The panels without the frames measure 46 x 61 cm
PAIR OF GOTHIC ARMCHAIRS
Attractive pair of carved oak armchairs with superb tapestry covers, one of Diana the Huntress and the other of Apollon. Upholstery in good condition, the tapestry needs cleaning and is a little worn (see photos). The back and bottom textile needs to be changed. Two similar armchairs needing to be restored are also available.
ART DECO CLOCK
Reveyrolis (bronzes by Demetre Chiparus and Irenee Rochard) Art Deco clock. Superb gilt bronze figure of a woman in a bathing costume. Clock in different colour marble Signed on the back "Editions Reveyrolis Paris". Movement in working condition complete with pendulum and gong (the slide of the pendulum is damaged and should be changed) A little wear on the figure and on the corners of the marble, a scratch on the dial between the 2 and 3. Weight : approximately 12 kilos

PAIR OF JAPANESE FIGURES
Pair of Japanese figures of buffalo each carved in one piece of wood. Very fine sculpture with the riders as finely carved as certain Netsuke. The chains between the buffalo and the riders are missing, three horns are broken, cracks on the front of the buffalos and on the back of one of the riders.

MARBLE FIGURE OF A ZOUAVE
Marble figure in honour of Francois Beaumont, first Zouave killed in November 1914, defending the bridge in Dry Gachten (http://www.greatwardifferent.com/Great_War/France_at_War/Heroisme_01.htm). The legs have been repaired and there are some scratches on the head. Weight approximately 15 Kilos

BRONZE FIGURE BY LEONARD AGATHON
Authentic bronze figure by Leonard Agathon (1841-1923), circa 1880-1900. Rare young stag in bronze on base. Leonard Agathon was especially famous for his bronze and biscuitware dancers but also for his animal figures and the results in the sale rooms reflect the growing demand by collector's for this great sculptor. Good condition, the back legs have been repaired and the screws for attaching it to the base are missing. For transport the base will not be attached.
BAUCHE MILITARY SAFE
Incombustible military safe by Bauche, Gueux. The interior is brick lined under the cloth. Very rare and decorative item. Front carries the English coat of arms with "Dieu est mon roi". The lock is not in place as it has been forced but a locksmith should be able to put it in place (it works) and make a key. Sold as shown in the photos Weight: 19.3 kilos
KANAK BLUDGEON
Kanak bludgeon from New Caledonia in the form of a bird's head or beak. Circa 1860-1880. Superb patina, soft carving, warm colour. No repairs but the crete of the bird is missing. Perfect condition
RARE GILT BRONZE LAMP
Rare gilt bronze lamp decorated with a fight scene between an eagle and a snake. Attractive gilt with no wear. Good condition, ready to be used, a dent on the base. Weight: over 1.1 kilos
